Wise review but with a touch of madness.

I wanted to say "knife."
Leonard Cohen Songs From a Room

He invented a new way of singing, a sub-tone singing, his voice sinks into the lows like a knife. Ondarock defines it (I believe) as "the razor-thin voice."

But "the lesser evil" and "their best" don't mean the same thing?

I don't know the album, nor the singer, but among the cast of musicians stand out true legends like Bandini and Tavolazzi. A warm and engaging review; just for the opening atmosphere, I would have given it a full 5. (would I have or do I..., who knows!)

The headlines always make me laugh, they're exaggerated.

Regarding the discussion between De André and Guccini, I think they are both great. Each has added something important to Italian songwriting. Both have a beautiful way of writing and composing. I believe Guccini wouldn’t be able to write like De André just as De André wouldn’t be able to write like Guccini.

I don't understand why among Guccini's best albums the first one is never mentioned: Folk beat n°1, which includes almost all of Guccini's greatest hits: Auschwitz, Dio è morto, Noi non ci saremo... it's true, the music there was very rough and undoubtedly the later versions are better (although Auschwitz sung only with guitar accompaniment as in the first version is very beautiful), but still, it contains part of the history of Italian song.
