Speechless and timeless. An eternal painting.

To Ezekiel: about Ken the Warrior, as far as the characters go, the drawing isn't exactly top-notch. However, the settings are very beautiful.

Maybe instead of Namekians you meant Saiyans.

@47. Sorry, but I really don't see any connection between Piccolo and Superman, rather between Goku and Superman, as far as their origins go.

I'm sorry Brat, but I believe you're leaning a bit too much into nostalgia. Personally, I can say that I watch all sorts of things, just like you, from Doraemon to Evangelion, from Dragon Ball to Miyazaki's films, and no matter how different they may be, I appreciate them all equally. Each person has their own tastes, that's clear. The fact is that if Dragon Ball hadn't been advertised or, better yet, "marketed" so much, you would probably have a different opinion. Because honestly, I don't see what could make it inferior to all the other cartoons you mentioned, apart from that damn nostalgia.

Yes, but you also have to consider that Dragon Ball has a comedic style, at least the first series. That doesn't mean it lacks any meaning. Moreover, it does have a plot, and for its time, it doesn't seem obvious at all to me.

Geenoo, you say that because you grew up with different cartoons. Furthermore, the Gormiti have nothing to do with it.

The difference between Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z is also noticeable in the fights: the first series is much more focused on martial arts. The battles may appear slower, but they are certainly more realistic (as much as the term realistic applies to this manga). In the Z series, on the other hand, the fights consist of a series of punches thrown repeatedly, or energy blasts shot from the hand. Let's say that the second series has a much more science fiction character, starting with the spaceships and the arrival of the Saiyans.

Personally, I've always preferred the first series of Dragon Ball since I was a kid. In fact, I don't really have many memories of Dragon Ball Z (maybe it's because Mediaset keeps shoving it down our throats every year, worse than Vanzina's films). Probably if it hadn’t been recycled so often, even the Z series would get a bit more appreciation. Speaking of which, a few months ago Dragon Ball Kai was released, a remastered version of Dragon Ball Z, with much higher quality and much more faithful to the manga, eliminating all those filler episodes that unnecessarily stretched out the series (even though I kind of liked them).
