Fabrizio De André Non Al Denaro, Non All'Amore Né Al Cielo

De André stated in an interview that he considers himself more of a singer-songwriter, perhaps for convenience. I quote one of his phrases, which he repeated in a slightly different way in other interviews: "Benedetto Croce used to say that until the age of eighteen, everyone writes poetry, and from that age onwards, there are two categories of people who continue to write: poets and fools. So, I prudently took refuge in the song, which, being a mixed form of art, allows me not insignificant escape routes where creative exuberance is lacking."

a wonderful review for a wonderful album. Those who say that De André was not a poet because he was a musician clearly don’t understand anything. Poetry can also be just instrumental music. Once, only compositions written in verses, stanzas, and with specific metric rules were defined as poetry. Today, poetry is everything that expresses emotions and feelings, and that includes music as well.

no, no, wait. Now I've got it: you said you’ve read others’ comments, not that you wrote them.

I haven't listened to the album, just a few songs. I really enjoyed the review; it's very heartfelt, even though I didn't quite understand what you said at the beginning. You mention that you commented on other reviews before writing yours, and then you immediately deny it all. Frankly, I didn't understand much.

a very nice and well-written review, I’ve never listened to the album, but from the way you described it, it must be really good, even though sixteen minutes for a track seems a bit too much, even for a Dylan song (it all depends on the track, whether it flows or not.)

Cute movie, naive but not stupid. Jim Carrey, as usual, is outstanding.

It's clear that certain songs have become a symbol of the band and are played at every concert.
