no no. I'm not antachbol! I'm a group I enjoy listening to. Especially wishmaster! If I don't like the album, I certainly won’t die from it. However, the new singer takes away a bit of 'sacredness' (in a thousand quotes) from it all.

This album has an intimacy and a sadness that is at times disconcerting, expressed in a direct and rough way that is completely new for HIM. "Sleepwalking Past Hope" is undoubtedly the piece that encapsulates the strength of the album; while the first single, in the version of the video, falls short of what it achieves in its original form as presented in the album. The comparison of "Venus Doom" with "Razorblade Romance" and "Greatest Lovesongs" does not hold, precisely because these are earlier works that are completely different in intent and execution. A decent review, but in my opinion (and without offense) not up to par.

very nice review. but I find elisa dramatically boring; I know the album practically by heart because at my house for a period they listened to it day and night, and I did so out of inertia. what can I say? I don’t see an ounce of that much-praised talent in her, both the music and the lyrics seem quite mundane to me.. just my opinion. the temptation to give her a 1 is always strong, but I hold back thinking of the worst.
