beautiful there, a new album by The Shins was just what we needed in this renewed spring

I instead think that this film, with its excellent beginning, not only falls into banality in its second half but also undermines much of the (very) good that exists at the start, heading in a direction that completely negates at least one of the scenes from the first half of the film. And when things or characters are forgotten or lose significance halfway through, it really gets on my nerves. Maybe I should have read the book to understand, but analyzing the film, my rating wavers around a 3, reflecting a rather disappointed tone.
