"What a piece of shit you are, Brat... So many words and insults to avoid saying that you don't know a blessed thing, YOU", "Asshole Sbrat", "see where you need to go stick your head up your ass, jerk"... excuse me, who’s insulting?

Akira Toriyama Dragon Ball

Wow, you are absolutely right: who can think that Dragon Ball is a great cartoon if not a mind twisted by Dragon Ball itself? It doesn't make sense. Ultimately, the point is always the same: we're talking about the manga and not the anime. Whether it's decent, beautiful, or crap, those are personal opinions; let's remember that we're talking about a comic/cartoon, and let's try not to slip into the ridiculous by attributing all sorts of sinister ideological connotations or whatever.. "to those who don't follow it, it grates a bit on the nerves instead" and they continue not to follow it, brother, who’s telling you otherwise?! And above all: why do you care if they keep airing it? I'm also really tired of seeing it, but I can easily come to terms with it. Come on..

I don't want to be annoying, but it seems to me that the comments here are pretty off-base: first of all, some people comment and vote on the "cartoon," but as you may have noticed, we're in the inner section, the one for writings, so you should have some doubts about whether you're saying something silly, right? There's a nice, and I emphasize NICE, difference between anime and manga. Point two, I've even read accusations of Nazism against series Z... can you imagine? And why? Because the Super Saiyans are blonde? Come on, it’s obvious that a Japanese person finds 'hot' people with blonde hair and blue eyes attractive, where’s the Nazism in that? And how exactly would Dragon Ball warp the minds of the children who follow it? It’s honestly ridiculous.

The first season of Dragon Ball is absolutely beautiful, then Z gradually but inexorably worsens. GT isn’t even worth considering. Son Goku is a character with an extraordinary tradition behind him and great popularity in China as well as in Japan, and perhaps throughout the Far East. Great review; it must be said that while Toriyama inspires his characters from the legend you mentioned about the stone monkey, they don’t really retain much (almost nothing) of their original character traits. I say almost because the little pig remains a greedy, mischievous, and crafty pig. I’d give a score to the first season, and to the beginning of Z, why not...

Great review. I'm currently catching up on them. I also think I'll go see them in Ferrara, since the legendary Animal Collective will be there...

I appreciate the intent of the project, even though the piece, listened to a couple of times with some attention, is nothing extraordinary, a mix of different singing styles that gives rise to something vaguely defined; the lyrics are quite predictable, the kind of text you expect from a project like this. The same goes for the music. The review is brief, but on the other hand, there isn't much to say; one note: lyrics too poetic?? Personal opinion: I am generally quite reluctant to invoke poetry to define song lyrics, but if I absolutely had to do it, I would use such an adjective in very different circumstances. P.S.: What does Zucchero say about this?

Frankly, I find his music quite boring: two of the singles from the album that I happened to hear could easily be the same song; they were cookie-cutter. Sure, much better than a lot of other chart junk, but I don't see all this talent.

Nick Hornby Febbre a 90'

Yes, nice review. I agree with the comments about the fact that when it comes to Hornby, we're dealing with light reading. This book, which I’ve also seen the film adapted from, is no exception. Perhaps by reading the book the two ladies on the train might catch a glimpse of that genuine passion known as fandom—no, more than that, the love for a football team. Watching the film, not so much; I believe that to fully enjoy the movie, one must be a fan—it’s less "touching." However, I must say I’ve never been particularly fond of Arsenal :D
