Arcade Fire Everything Now

It's interesting that the review positively mentions "chemistry" and "infinite content," exactly the two (or three) tracks on the album that I consider useless and irredeemable, placed in the middle of the disc where one would expect an acceleration, a strong central core, and instead, these cannonballs arrive to sink the ship. The last tracks are the lifeboats. I still agree with the general point about criticism groping in the dark. Overall, I find this everything now a notch above that nonsense of reflektor. But still below the old standards.

it confirms the not particularly thrilling trend of reflektor, but it lasts much less, a positive note. the best things come at the end. I miss the af.

At first listen, I liked it quite a bit; a wave of influences and references, many different atmospheres, and all of it still leads you to a meaning and a general cohesion of the work. Above all, I was struck by Orfeo ed Euridice, tracks that reach truly remarkable emotional peaks, as well as Afterlife, which I would dare to define the most old-school piece of the album. But as a long-time fan of Arcade Fire, there's still a shadow, a bitterness in my mouth, because despite everything, I increasingly feel that the levels of spontaneous lyricism found in Funeral are truly hard to recreate. And it's also normal for it to be that way, alas.
Honestly, I didn't like the review. You could have given it another read before posting to avoid all those lexical oversights. Also, I find track-by-track descriptions of albums to be a rather uninteresting and boring exercise for the reader.

In about a month I'm going on vacation and I'm diving into the blue waters of the ocean like a sperm whale. Everyone has spoken so highly of it, and now I have absurd expectations, but I’m confident they won’t be betrayed... great review anyway, very comprehensive and able to not reveal anything about the plot. Well done!

Yes, I know we've all seen this movie, but imagine if the one poor unfortunate soul who hasn't seen it yet happened to come across this review, and by reading it, learns about many little big plot pieces... As I see it, when reviewing a film, one should be good at talking about the aforementioned film without revealing anything or almost anything about it. This is something that cannot be said about this review.
Verdena Solo un grande sasso

The Verdena are one of those bands that, at first listen, deceive you: they seem interesting. Then you listen again and realize that no, they were just messing with you. I hate to say it, but I find them well beyond the threshold of ridiculousness.

Nice, but it seems to me that no one has been rude enough to point out that the quote is actually wrong, cause she "was born with roses in her eyes," not flowers!

one of the most empty, useless, and tasteless literary bestsellers and cinematic successes I have ever laid eyes on

a highly appreciated film trilogy, including this first chapter. I had a hell of a time reading the books; clearly, it’s not the genre for me. review so and so
