Ah.. don’t go back on what you say because you gave a 1 to both my review and the album. So it doesn’t mean you appreciated anything from his career. If you want to regret it, you still have time before you fall back into the "paradoxical phenomena" category.

Dearest, I listen to the Clash, I wanted to see King Crimson live, but I couldn’t make it. As you can see, one can listen to everything, as long as it is objectively good taste. Anyway, looking back, I would give this album 4 stars; I was a bit stingy some time ago.

Pippocalippo this album is from '93, the time of "Farfallina" had passed a while ago.

It's true that the sound of their '80s records is a product of that era, but the album in question is from the late '70s and is very interesting. I'm done.
Eros Ramazzotti Calma Apparente
Voto:
To preface, I’m 20 years old and during these years, I’ve let some things slip by. I just want to say that Ramazzotti, having listened to him as a child, didn’t always make garbage. I’m not saying this just because I’m nostalgic (after all, as time has passed, my tastes have gone in a completely different direction), but also because those records were genuine. Now, I’m the first to say that in the last ten years, Eros has sold out big time; I mean, Manuel, don’t defend him tooth and nail with lyrics that sound like they were written by a child. Noble content, for sure, but the form? I mean, "In ogni senso" was a great album, just like "Tutte storie." Furthermore, I can confidently say that during that period Eros signed lyrics and music under the supervision of Cogliati and Cassano (the one who made Eros’s fortune until '94), and the latter is also a very good guitarist who knows his stuff. Today, my judgment is no longer biased since I easily switch from the Beatles to Nick Drake, from the Police to the Rem, from U2 to Pink Floyd. So I can calmly say that I’m objective because, fundamentally, I don’t care about what Ramazzotti does anymore; he has fallen into the banal.

Bernard, you’re the usual fool. The Toto didn’t make music history, okay, but this album is really good. Don’t act like a kid.

Alex, I bet you've changed your mind just because they were really terrible live... Tell the truth.

I rate the concert at the Circolo degli artisti in September. An hour of great music; I still haven't bought Nux Vomica, but I have to say that the songs I heard in Rome are really beautiful. Andrews has an almost unattainable talent. I agree with Nick, the bassist is divine in every sense. I would give millions...

Fiammy, if you are a woman, I hope to never meet you. I mean, give Ramazzotti a hard time, but I believe you are light-years ahead of him. He was born without a penny, at 18 he left for Milan ALONE and made a career thanks to a good dose of luck and his talent that he managed to exploit only in bursts. I admired him because he's a sort of self-made man from a poor background. That said, I'm sorry for you, Manuel, but this album is really bad and trivial. Up until "Dove c'è musica," great albums, mind you, but for the past 10 years nothing relevant except a handful of songs. As for Fiammy's "2 accords," I can assure you that Ramazzotti's pieces are extremely difficult to play and very complex; I play the guitar and I know what I'm saying. Battisti is beyond discussion; it doesn’t mean that if you listen to glam or punk (as I do too) you can’t appreciate something else.
U2 The Best Of 1980 - 1990 (2 CD)

Y2j and Hobbit hit the nail on the head: I completely agree with them. Poletti reviewed a collection with B-sides and it's not the same thing, let's not pretend otherwise. In short, the second album features tracks like "Silver and Gold," "Sweetest Thing," "Unchained Melody," and a curious embryonic "Party Girl." As for album 1, "Bad" is simply a masterpiece; it's one of the most beloved tracks by fans. Unfortunately, the songs mentioned by Y2j are missing. But if I'm not mistaken, this was supposed to be a collection of singles, which is why other beautiful songs aren't included. Hobbit is right in saying that some of you are descending into pure infantility. And I'm saying this as a 20-year-old, so you should feel a little ashamed since you are a few years older than me. In conclusion, I don't understand this animosity towards U2: guys, they are simply the greatest band on the planet; the Zoo TV tour confirmed that. Yoko Ono told Bono that she had inherited John Lennon’s legacy; they had the courage to reinvent themselves even with questionable albums ("Zooropa" and "Pop") but appreciated by those who love music in all its forms. And I truly hope I'm not the only one left.
