Terje Nordgarden Live - Fox Sound di Cheremule - 15.01.2005

I saw him for free in a social cellar in Genazzano, near Rome. I didn't even know him. A splendid, intimate concert. His pieces are magical, he has great skill with the guitar and his trusty adventurous companion is quite capable with the trumpet. He also performed the beautiful "I shall be released" by Dylan and a snippet of "Gloria" by Van Morrison. He tried to hint at "Desire" by U2, but he stopped right away. We got him back on stage 4 times (historical record) as the alcohol level (probably his too) was quite high. I had the opportunity to get to know him and I must say he seems like a really down-to-earth guy, who definitely listens to a lot of music and still goes around "out in the country" venues to play his music. Really talented, both of them. P.S.: the ponytail is gone!

Scratch wrote the most beautiful post. It's true that the last great songs by U2 were written during the time of "All That You Can't Leave Behind," but "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" is nonetheless an enjoyable album, made knowing that those songs would have a better impact on stage. "Vertigo" is a decent track, "All Because of You" and "Love and Peace or Else" are the same, but live they really make you get your ass moving. Bono, regarding the latest single "Window in the Skies," said it's one of the most beautiful pieces they've ever written. And I must admit he's absolutely right: Beatles-inspired with reminiscences of "The Joshua Tree." Immense.

Hilarious review, but the Beatles will always be the greatest of all time. No one can ever deny it.

U2 Live In San Siro 2005 (bootleg)

Andrea, the review is poorly written in both content and form, but I’m sure you can do better. Regarding U2, I have my usual opinion: they have been and remain the greatest active band, in terms of quality, credibility, showmanship, and audience. I have always loved their ability to change style and type of performance. I was at the concert in Rome and I can assure you it is still the most beautiful and emotional concert of my life. If we want to discuss the songs, among the mediocre ones are included The Electric Co. (absolutely devastating, from “Boy”), Miss Sarajevo, The Fly, and Zoo Station: pure heresy. Moreover, U2 cannot be boring, because Bono's lyrics have never been clichéd. I must admit, though, that some works only reveal their brilliance after several listens, because U2 is a "spiritual" band, a faith not easily understood by all.
Elton John The Captain And The Kid

Great review, as a child I discovered the greatness of Elton John in a bootleg from over thirty years ago with "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Daniel," "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting," etc. It’s true that the '80s and '90s (with the exception of the beautiful soundtrack of "The Lion King") are to be discarded. But I really believe this work is commendable; I will buy the album as soon as it's on sale. Additionally, Elton live is still a great frontman; he truly impressed me.

For Bjork: I wasn't criticizing you, it was just curiosity. And in the other review, even Fiammy understood that you were 15, I'm not that stupid. Also, you can check all the comments I've left; I've never offended anyone, I would never dream of it. I've always aimed for dialogue. For the wizard Wiz: I reviewed Ramazzotti as soon as I signed up on the site to be a bit subversive, also because I repeat that up to 10 years ago he did some great things. Moreover, I have an ear that adapts very well to pop, so I can listen to everything. I could give you an endless list of concerts I've attended, even though I’m only 20: Queen, U2, Veils, Elton John, Toto, Joel, Bryan Adams, or Pfm, Banco, Fossati, Fabi, Dalla, Fortis, Pino Daniele, Mannoia, and many others. So I don't think my musical knowledge is that limited, especially considering my age. I beg your pardon.

A curiosity: on the review of Ramazzotti, you said you were 15 years old, now you say you were born in '68. What’s the truth?
