The rating would be 3.5, but I don't want to be too generous. Gorgeous songs ("In a little while," "Walk on," "When I look at the world") contrast with others that are less successful ("Peace on earth," "New York"). Many of the tracks shine in the live version ("Elevation" is stunning, "Beautiful day" a must). The band still seems to be in good shape.

Primiballi are Milan fans, but that doesn't mean they are ignorant and rude. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater; I have plenty to say about your "team." In any case, Jovanotti is not at all an imbecile in my opinion, and I say this because I know what I'm talking about. After listening to "L'albero," I had nothing but admiration for him.

Undoubtedly one of the most successful pieces by Venditti, who after "Cuore" has been experiencing an artistic crisis that lasts to this day (with the exception of "In questo mondo di ladri"). In any case, to discover the best of Venditti, one must look back: "Sora Rosa," "Marta," "Stai con me," and the splendid "Compagno di scuola" remain memorable moments from a decade in which Venditti contributed a great deal to Italian songwriting.

I discovered Born to Run Petty through his "Greatest Hits" that I listened to at the Mazdapalace before a Bryan Adams concert. It was love at first sight! After that, I bought this self-titled album and "Wildflowers," which is really worth it. I'm waiting for the prices of the others to drop. Have you ever seen him live? To my knowledge, he doesn't come to Italy very often. Do you have any of his DVDs you would recommend?
