What an album. Really beautiful. "Harvest" can bring a tear or two, "Heart of Gold" simply divine.

I wanted to write this review myself, really well done Mariaelena. In any case, critics have always stated that this is the best album by Roxy Music, so dear Pene Erectus, you are completely wrong. And no one said that this is a rock album; you really made a huge mess. More than this is wonderful, the title track with Yanick's voice is truly an anthem for making love.

Guys, there are almost 10 reviews of this album... If only there was one written at least decently, smoothly, interesting, beyond the content. In any case, this is undoubtedly a cornerstone in its genre, a great record, but not a masterpiece. This is because, objectively, there are at least 3 decent tracks and nothing more. Slash overshadows everyone; his guitar is sharp just right. It's precisely in Slash's English origins that lies the uniqueness of the Guns; otherwise, they would have been an FM rock band or might not have existed at all.

Overrated band, overrated album. There are great songs in Parachutes, but there are also things that don't convince me much. After Trouble, the album seems to go on forever, a bit like Reveal by R.E.M. I've been told that the next album is better than this one, we shall see...

I remember listening to it once, but I didn't like it at all. But objectively, "Back for Good" is one of the most beautiful songs of the '90s. There's no point in being blinkered. A major commercial phenomenon, but capable of doing some good things.
