Lou Reed Transformer

Memorable, fun, thrilling. In short, it has it all. How can anyone say that "Perfect Day" is an overrated piece?? A mystery! (as someone used to say in the '90s);)

Banale music? Yes, of course...

Here you all talk to me about run-of-the-mill folk, but nobody has mentioned the concept album and the meaning of this record. Very superficial.
Danny Elfman Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas OMPS
Voto:
Burton is absolutely my favorite director. This has truly become a cult in every respect. The soundtrack by Zero is really beautiful. Genius.
Steven Spielberg Schindler's List

Galakordi we are all fools as you can clearly see. I know it sounds very "cool" to be the voice outside the choir, but in my opinion, you missed the mark big time. How can one say that Spielberg is a crafty one? He has made millions dream, cry, and laugh. bah... For the rest, a moving film that establishes Liam Neeson as one of the best actors around.

Dear Adriano, you've been changing your mind often lately... I was right then...
Eros Ramazzotti Calma Apparente
Voto:
Wait Piciu, it’s true that Ramazzotti now makes some junk, but since you talk so much about Punisher who thinks he’s more cultured than he actually is, you should also tone it down because if we want to talk about chords, Ramazzotti's music (at least once upon a time) was quite complex. I wouldn’t talk at all about 4 chords, assuming you know how to read a score…

In fact, I don't dispute the fact that Miss Sarajevo may be somewhat out of place with the rest of the album; I'll evaluate that when I listen to the whole thing. I debate the value you attribute to Miss Sarajevo in itself. For me, it's a piece of great class and, above all, it knows how to move you. I won't go into personal details...

Well, look, if "Miss Sarajevo" is a purely pop piece, then I’m a Mohammedan. If you pay attention to the arrangements, everything seems anything but pop to me. The fact that the vocal line of Bono and Pavarotti is melodic doesn’t mean that the term commercial carries a negative connotation for that piece. Moreover, as has already been mentioned, it wasn’t released as a single to enrich the gang, but it was part of a project that culminated in Pavarotti & Friends aimed that year at the countries of the former Yugoslavia. I repeat, "Miss Sarajevo" has some very peculiar arrangements; you can tell that there’s the hand of Brian Eno behind it. And since I reinterpret U2’s pieces acoustically, I can assure you that I had to let that one go due to the arrangement itself.

Everything is very well written, but when you spoke that way about a piece as splendid as "Miss Sarajevo," it made me a bit irritable. A record that I will buy sooner or later.
