Oh well, the rhythms were obviously INTense;)

A truly beautiful film that makes you reflect on various fronts. Tight rhythms and a nail-biting finale. Stupendous Bowie, Christian Bale proves to be objectively one of the best actors out there, Caine is a certainty while objectively Jackman doesn't really inspire me much... Along with Little Miss Sunshine and The Departed, the best film of the year.

I believe that in the studio they are very limited by something or someone. Excellent compositions contrast with pieces that are too over-the-top. In any case, they are the best live band (under 30) in circulation in Italy.

Glam pop????? This is new to me. Anyway, the title here is wrong, I don't understand why it isn't being corrected.

If I focus on the singles...beautiful. I don't know the rest of the album.

One of my all-time favorite albums (not just by Simple Minds). I challenge anyone to keep track of the timing in Kick it in... Almost a feat. I give a 5 to lostinspace's post, memorable!

Excellent review in form, but I disagree with much of what you've written. Verdone (especially in his early films) did not play simple caricatures, but characters in which many average Italians could identify themselves, unlike all the other comedians you mentioned. Much closer to Alberto Sordi than to many others. As for this film, it's true that it's not among the best, but I gladly give it a passing grade. Regarding the iconic scenes, they are more or less the ones you mentioned, with the one from "Piazza dei Miracoli" being the standout.

In fact, I don’t agree with those who say that Simple Minds stopped with this album. In my opinion, "Street Fighting Years" is an exceptional and vibrant record. "Cry" is a decent album but has 3 or 4 standout tracks. I need help: I found "Once Upon a Time" for 5 euros, and since it’s an album I’m missing, I’m asking if it’s worth it. In any case, there’s an iconic track like "Alive and Kicking"...

The review would be ideal for a pop-rock dictionary, but I would have gone on much longer. I might be crazy, but I like this album more than "New Gold Dream"... I don't know, I find it more immediate. The cover of Lou Reed's "Street Hassle" is beautiful, truly courageous. As for the rest, the whole album is infused with great energy and there are really many memorable tracks.

Great reception and an amazing film. Enough with these prejudices against Di Caprio (I believe this all stems from Titanic, which was actually a splendid blockbuster), who despite his young age has made many great films. I agree with the overall judgment of uxo; it’s a bit difficult to judge Damon because he actually plays a character that it's impossible not to feel a bit of dislike for, so let’s say we tend to be a bit biased. Nicholson's smirk returns to be hated (or loved??)...
