however Cronos, in your profile you count the Maiden among your favorites...you completely overlook the Saxon...you shouldn't have done this to me...:)...

I also love the Maiden with Paul DiAnno... but what they did right after is pretty good too... I've often heard that Robert Halford and company were the true predecessors of heavy metal, but what about Motörhead? By the way, I seem to remember that Saxon's first big tour was actually as supporters of Motörhead...

Cronos... let’s see if I got it... the Saxon made history... the Maiden better go to sleep... yes? no? sort of?

I didn't make a mistake with my first review :)... I'm sure I'll make mistakes in the following ones :)... heavy metal has nothing to do with AC/DC... I've already sent a review on "Saxon," legendary, it’s a shame they're only legendary for me...

Back in Black is a great album, and whether you like it or not, it's sung by a great Brian Johnson, who sacrificed his voice for AC/DC... Bon Scott had a stellar voice, Brian Johnson doesn't, which is why I find it even more commendable... watch out for the subjunctives...

I've always been a fanatic of Jimmy Page and Ritchie Blackmore, considering Page a notch above... and I avoided listening to this legendary yet incredibly talented Hendrix... then one day I faced the truth and stumbled upon "All Along The Watchtower" and I understood, oh yes I understood... an amazing record...

let's see... I've been listening to it since I was a child... back then, I believed it couldn't get any better, neither in terms of playing nor in terms of evoking emotions... even today, I find it fabulous... tracks like "Rain Song" (in my opinion perfectly executed) or "Dazed & Confused," which I always listen to in full without ever getting bored, and the stunning "No Quoter," are some of the best that rock has ever produced... as for "Stairway To Heaven," I find that the solo in "The Song Remains The Same" is more inspired than the one in the version of "How The West Was Won," this is just my personal opinion... for me, it's a great album... a review not shared doesn't mean it's bad...
