Blaze As Live As It Gets
Voto:
So, the mystery remains, why did Harris choose Blaze? I love both Blaze's albums with the Maiden, perhaps I even prefer Virtual XI among the two, but how could Harris choose a singer who has at least two tones lower than Dickinson??? It was predictable that he would struggle with this difference in live performances; after all, true professionals cannot make such incredible mistakes!!! At the very least, they should have lowered the tone of the entire old repertoire to adapt it to Blaze's voice, but even this doesn't seem to have been done!!! It seems like suicide!!! And indeed, there is no official Maiden live album with Blaze on vocals!!! What a shame, I find the albums with Blaze on vocals exceptional!!!

truly a beautiful page, I don’t agree with everything, but we already knew that... it remains a stunning album, and you did well to highlight its limitations... I also love "first time" and "never say never"... I like everything anyway... however, I see that they evoke very little interest on de baser... what a shame...

I disagree!!! Strongly disagree!!! ;) As much as I like Glenn Burtnik, there’s no comparison to the great Tommy Shaw!!! Moreover, I believe that the album “Kilroy Was Here,” although fragmented, has peaks that the reviewed album can only dream of, for example, "Just Get Through This Night" and of course "Mr. Roboto"... That said, I especially enjoy the beautiful “All In A Day’s Work” and “Back To Chicago”... the rest seems syrupy and dramatically AOR... great review even though I disagree!!! :)

But has Ozzy ever sung any tracks from the albums with Dio, or I don't know, a Born Again from the Gillan era?

"Great record, highly inspired Iommi... moreover, I find that in this piece Iommi is indebted to Dodi Battaglia (from Pooh) in fact, I have the impression that his solos resonate with the solos from the song 'Parsifal' by Pooh... has no one else had this impression? Just to be clear, 'Parsifal' is from 1973… :)"

Great album, truly inspired Iommi, and I also agree with the green manalishi regarding "you won't change me, a grand song that is worth the purchase of the album on its own"..., moreover, I find that in this track Iommi owes something to Dodi Battaglia (from Pooh), as I have the impression that his solos have similarities with the solos in the song "Parsifal" by Pooh... has no one else had this impression? Just to be clear, "Parsifal" is from 1973 :)...

Absolutely! I remember that back in the early eighties, when I was just a kid, there was a video playing on the music channels, still in their infancy, I believe the track was called "Tubeway Army," is that possible? The innovative power of that song was mind-blowing!!! Fantastic find!!! :)
