never seen, very interesting report... will I find it on the mule? :)... and yes, Naples is no longer like that, and they may be clichés, but very likely very common ones in Naples, but I’ll only be able to say after watching the film...

the jungle... war every morning... this is Naples... but it’s not just about the camorra, it’s about the Neapolitans, and centuries of laxness and twisted culture... I was born in Naples... I’ve lived here forever... stepping out every morning means knowing that the "next person" you cross paths with is a delinquent (not all, but many)... it means knowing that if you get bumped into, there’s a 99% chance the other person won’t admit their fault, coming up with ridiculous excuses, and if those aren’t enough, they’ll turn into explicit threats and guaranteed beatings, if not stabbings... knowing that whoever is in front of you is most likely tougher than you... knowing your studies don’t matter here, that the only school that counts is the school of the streets... knowing that if you were to absentmindedly linger a glance at someone, you wouldn’t get a smile in return, but a line like: CHE CAZZ TIENE A GUARDA'? STAI GUARDANN A ME'?... knowing it’s better to give up on a business because they’ll come to ask you for a kickback... knowing that if you want to do constructions, they’ll come to ask you for a kickback... knowing that if you’re waiting in line at the post office, the sly one will slip in... knowing that if you stood up to the sly one, you’d be risking a lot... knowing that even if you managed to come out on top, from that moment on you’d have to watch your back, because they would come looking for you... I’ve learned to survive here, but that hasn’t made me tougher, because I’m made of different stuff... after all, even though I have the BALLS to live in Naples, I didn’t have the BALLS to leave... I liked the reception... I read the book... I’ll see the movie...

@ Stoney, but I kindly asked for your opinion on the album... not a scornful accusation against "metalheads" (generalizing, by the way) and the reviewer... I'm afraid that with your words, you haven't added anything useful...

what a pity... I would have liked an album with vocals only in "clean", as I am indeed a fan of "Damnation"... we'll see, maybe it will still be a good album... the review, in its enthusiasm, comes across as a bit naïve...
Luciano De Crescenzo Così Parlò Bellavista

...my cousin passed away at the age of 43, on December 22, 2002, from pancreatic cancer. He lived in a town on the outskirts of Naples called Sant'Antimo. My cousin was an honest and capable person; he could have brought something good to this city... but cancer took him away... the evil hidden in the bowels of our land, the waste, the garbage, the dioxin, or simply fate... the fact is, he is no longer here... Bellavista has nevertheless outlined a precise profile of Neapolitans, but he overlooked their true dark side... the complacency, which is the cause of much of our ills... when we tighten up, we tighten even more; for us, reacting or protesting is truly the last resort... this is our greatest affliction... and so we have let criminals and complicit politicians take over... anyway, the garbage problem is not new; we have been victims of it since the 70s... and even Pino Daniele's cry has faded... perhaps like our hopes...

I liked it very much... it made me reflect on the story of the soldiers, always called upon to solve every problem, as if they were soulless instruments, perhaps without a family... while everyone was fleeing, the soldiers had to advance instead... a bit like the firefighters sacrificed in the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers...
