Funny enough, you included progressive among the genres, which, although it has nothing to do with it, fits perfectly with the length and pomposity of an era that, thank goodness, was coming to an end. I mean, I like the early Pink Floyd, but I absolutely cannot stand this frighteningly heavy and self-congratulatory brick, just as I do not share the fanaticism of those who follow them and will continue to do so forever.
