Jimmy Page & Robert Plant Walking Into Clarksdale

Thank you, it's a nice discovery that the work of Led is better... you have to look at this album from a different perspective! Forget about the work of Led, because the comparison just can't be made. Back then Page & Plant were at the peak of their career and they were 20 years old. We were in the '70s, not in '98. The Led were four, not two, and there was harmony among them and a greater stimulation for creativity. Their magic was broken with Bonzo's death, and even the three surviving members couldn't recreate it afterward. Moreover, Page & Plant themselves have said that they don't want to live under the shadow of Led Zeppelin. For them, Led Zeppelin is a closed chapter now. If they reunited, it was only for specific occasions, certainly not to reform the band. So, I hope I've given you the key to understanding this album. But what ooooooo!!

Well, vinsex, this album leans towards rock-blues and contains some truly great tracks that are definitely worth a listen. So I recommend you give it at least one listen. However, the fact that there are also some less impressive songs (those 5 I mentioned in the review) scattered here and there might make it a bit dull at times. It makes it somewhat inconsistent. Perhaps it's a bit inferior compared to coverdale/page, but it remains a good album nonetheless.
Led Zeppelin In Through The Out Door

Well, it’s definitely an interesting live performance, not to mention very beautiful and aggressive. Page, despite his age, is on fire; he’s really being Page, the real one, the Zeppelin one. Perhaps playing the songs of the Zep has given him an extra edge.

Great review, congratulations. I consider the album truly superb, and it has nothing to envy Aqualung or Thick as a Brick, on the contrary. And Jan Anderson's flute is really crazy!
Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same

What I wrote about "Starway" is just my personal opinion. I don't like the solo on the record, let alone the one in the movie. Compared to the one from Earl's Court in '75, included in the double DVD, honestly, there's no comparison. Listen to that one and then we can talk again. But I reiterate that this is just my personal opinion, nothing more. And then Francy, when I write a review, I try to make it as complete as possible. Maybe I won't be very concise, but only because I want to provide readers with as much information as possible on this or that topic. Better to be abundant and comprehensive than brief and a bit lacking, don't you think? But here we go, here we go, here we go!!!
The Darkness One Way Ticket To Hell... And Back

I believe that the Darkness are truly very, very good (they may not be very handsome, though...). They play a very energetic rock, and they greatly evoke the timeless Queen. Of course, maybe with this work they have become a bit more commercialized, but the album is really beautiful, and with their debut album, it's further confirmation that the Darkness are the best rock band today (along with U2, obviously).

The first time I listened to this album, I was stunned... It's truly... brilliant! Fantastic. I even prefer it to Dark Side. The review is thorough and very well done. Congratulations.
