first: I never said that Led Zeppelin had to do the same things: for me their favorite album is Physical Graffiti, which, coincidentally, is their most varied album. I appreciate II as well as Houses of the Holy or IV or III. I won’t let anyone say that I disdain Led Zeppelin because they changed; that’s a lie, take it back. Do you think you’ve discovered America when you say that things change? Even a three-year-old understands that Houses of the Holy and Presence are two completely different albums. Led Zeppelin are my biggest passion, don’t you dare repeat that I disdain them because they changed and that I don’t understand anything about music, because I know much more about Led Zeppelin than you do. You’re acting like a know-it-all: you’re not God, I won’t come and kiss your feet just because you graduated in whatever. And also, nobody’s perfect. Even the best sometimes miss the mark. Just because there’s Achilles' Last Stand doesn’t mean that Candy... and Tea... are songs as good as Achilles'. Everyone misses sometimes and can’t always reach the same levels, don’t you think? I agree with you that Tea isn’t garbage, I never said that. It’s monotonous, a tired piece, lacking bite. Nothing compared to Since. That doesn’t mean I don’t listen to it, but it’s not great. And I’ve already said: in 94 Page and Plant could have farted and people would still have been moved. If you like the album, I’m happy for you. But giving me a 2 just because we have different viewpoints on two songs, two different opinions on two songs, which is absolutely normal, annoys me. You’re presumptuous. The review seems pretty well written anyway, irrespective of everything. I’m tired of your comments. Oh, and by the way, I wasn’t offended by the “you” earlier, don’t worry, I forgive you, Mr. Know-It-All.

I'm addressing Daniele. First of all, I don't see why we should keep insisting that there are five overdubs. As Pier Paolo rightly said, the tracks are different from the lines, and Page could have just pressed record and played a single note (or 2 or 3) and then pressed stop, which would already be a track, a recording. I don't think they're concerned about printing a recording of 1, 3, or 4 notes on sheet music, do you? And how would you know? He probably did it that way, and no one will ever notice when they listen to the piece. Only Page could play it as he did on the record. Did you buy the Atlantic sheet music? Excuse me, but who cares, keep it; it's not the Bible. Second: Page's precision referred to the fact that he was a perfectionist in the studio to the point of overdubbing so many tracks for "Ten Years Gone." It wasn't a reference to his technique, which, I admit, was "rough." One last thing for Daniele: you take music too seriously. Remember that music, above all, is passion and fun, for both the players and the listeners. We might be wrong in saying that "Kashmir" is a sequence of polychromatic chords, but we don't care because the song still conveys beautiful emotions, and we love it just the same. It's useless to dwell on these trivial matters. I don't even know what polychromatic chords are; I'm ignorant, I admit it, but I play music because I enjoy it, because I have fun, and because it's my passion. That's all that matters, I assure you. One last thing: Jimmy becomes Miki and not Mike. Jimmy Page --- Miki Page… don’t you think?

I reiterate SN UN LUI!!! First: Candy store rock. I’m not joking at all; if they could have avoided it, absolutely. The Led Zeppelin won’t be remembered for songs like this one, you can be sure of that. As for your quote about Page, go check the first sentence of my review of Houses of the Holy. Second: tea for one. Something... defenseless, tired. You certainly wouldn’t tell me it’s like since I've been loving you, would you? I would be demoralized. Maybe you’re a bit confused, don’t you think? Third. In ‘94, Page and Plant performed since I've been loving you and not tea for one, as far as I know. Tea for one doesn’t appear on the album (no quarter) they recorded during that tour... it’s only since I've been... and anyway, even if what you say is true, they could have started playing any crap and people would still have been moved because they were seeing Robert and Jimmy together again after 24 years. It’s obvious that playing Zeppelin’s songs created a special atmosphere. But for any song, not for one in particular. Double check; maybe you’re wrong. As far as I know, they didn’t play both since... and tea... in ‘94, especially since one is a blatant copy of the other! And then "even Page himself will say that 'Tea For One' was the only time the Led repeated themselves." (Quote from my review). So even he didn’t consider tea for one a great piece.

Daniele, first of all, NOT A SHE, but a HE, and also a good guitarist. 14 overdubs on "Ten Years Gone"? First of all, Page wasn't an idiot and was very precise in the studio. Some of his overdubs can also be imperceptible to those who listen to the song and write the tabs. And then my source was a book that commented on all the Led Zeppelin songs in detail, so I didn't make it up. Bye.

They may be monsters technically, but they are nothing more than that. This is what I think about metal (and nu-metal) in general as well. Noise, excessive and pompous technicalities, and nothing more. It's a genre that has never said anything to me, in fact: it sends shivers down my spine to think that this genre is the offspring of fathers of a very different caliber (Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Ramones...). From an elephant, a mouse was born.

Good, good, good... you made me want to listen to the album again... and coincidentally, I'm already putting it in the player...
Ligabue Nome e Cognome

The review is very well written. The album is good: it's Ligabue. I've always held Liga in high regard as a person: he's not stupid, he's not a junkie like Vasco, his songs always have meaning. I consider him an intelligent person, unlike others who are true idiots. Ligabue may not have changed music, but he's a serious professional who does his job well.

I have never heard much of Mozart, and I am not familiar with the K313 and K299. But my sincerest compliments go to the review, which is written very, very well. Congratulations, really.
