Queen A Kind Of Magic

A superb album. My favorite by Queen, along with ANATO and ADATR.

What a bummer!!! Great shot! For now, I have to "settle" for an Epiphone Gibson Les Paul... but how much did the legendary double neck cost you? And above all, how did you manage to find it? There are very few of those around... Anyway, for the LEDs and for Jimmy, we do this and much more... ;D

But how did you manage to get it so quickly? Anyway, you did well because it’s really worth it.

In fact, I wanted to review something different from the usual studio albums and the usual official live recordings: in the end, we keep commenting and re-commenting only those, and it gets a bit tedious, also because they’ve been the same ones for many years now. So I decided to comment on a bootleg, to do something new. Also because there are so many of them, and those who have them can provide useful information to those who would like to purchase them. And then for Led Zeppelin, the triple "How The West..." was only recently released, which is a fantastic live album, but it has a repertoire that only covers up to some tracks from Houses of the Holy. On Destroyer, you also find tracks from Graffiti and Presence, which helps to "complete" How The West. P.S: Dear Zarathustra, don’t worry about Plant: his interpretation of Kashmir is simply fantastic... yes, you’ll see that the bootleg will prove you wrong!

Be antmo... the bootleg is out there, indeed! I have three Led Zep ones: the one from Earls Court, one with recordings from various concerts, and this one, considered the best of all as the best bootleg of the Zep. I found the first two through ads on the internet, while I got Destroyer from a friend who had downloaded it from the internet. It's a must-have collector's item!

Well, I agree with you that there are a lot of people who talk nonsense pretending to know everything, spouting crap that can be really annoying. But there are also people who spout nonsense simply because they make mistakes without any presumption. They just get it wrong. Now, you can't crucify someone just because they say that "Kashmir" is a sequence of polychromatic chords! If someone confuses and tells you that "Presence" was released in '75, what are you going to do? Shoot them? I don't see why there's all this outrage. To err is human, and one can make mistakes in good faith. Okay... for you, who graduated in blah blah blah, maybe the comment on "Kashmir" made your hair stand on end, but it would have been enough to say: “Sorry, that's not how it is, but in my opinion, it is like this.” Then, in my opinion, you should always compare one album to another, because an album captures the artist in a certain condition during a specific period, and making comparisons helps to understand the changes that have occurred in sound, style, influences, and the context in which it was recorded... it helps to understand many things... it helps to understand the evolution (or involution) of that artist. As for emotions, don’t worry about that. You can find them both in albums like "Houses of The Holy" and "Presence," which are completely different albums recorded in opposite contexts. And please stop calling me "sir," okay? I'm just a guy with a passion for music, not the President of the Republic!!!

Daniele, you have taken on a somewhat disdainful tone in judging my reviews to express your viewpoints. And that has irritated me. You could have simply said that you disagreed with me, that’s all. And then a review can be well-written even if you don't share its points of view. Okay? Ah, I would like to thank Antonio for his mediation.

ah, I'm not going to give you the formal 'you.' I don't want to lower myself to your level, it's not worth it.
