The review is well done and deserves a solid 5!! However, I haven't listened to this album so I can't rate it... I'm going to look for it immediately though...

A charming review... As for the "Thin White Duke..." all adjectives, even just associated with this "human hybrid" (allow me to say...), will always be superfluous... simply because he is so powerful and disarming... Him..., his Face..., his Songs... his World... his image... or rather: the visual Projection of his digital SELF (??!??)... Incredible!!! Some time ago, I even heard that he went public...

Bauhaus The Sky's Gone Out

This time I don't agree with you Fidia: The Sky's Gone Out is, in my opinion, clearly (and by far, I mean...) better than Burning from the Inside, and I'll explain why: first of all, regarding the lyrics (and here, I agree with the reviewer, we're on two different planets); in The Sky's Gone Out the lyrics are still incredibly "raw" yet refined at the same time... melancholic and dreamy... musically, you can feel there's a lot of nostalgic anger within our four, but the difference, in my opinion, lies right here: if in Burning from the Inside we find a Murphy who is almost resigned to everything, in The Sky's Gone Out you can perceive a subtle desire for revenge... okay, the album came out first, that's true... indeed, criticism (and this goes for any band) must be consistent both with the "times" and with expectations... when The Sky's Gone Out was released, Bauhaus were still, so to speak, "angry"; they made their anger noticeable (see Third Uncle and In the Night) while in Burning from the Inside (a very beautiful album, mind you), the "story" changes. You can immediately notice the group's "resignation" but especially Peter's to that ephemeral and "made-up" world to which they had dedicated their faces in the previous albums... in Burning from the Inside, all this anger, this "tarantism" is not present... however, tracks like The Kingdom really make you think... A sufficient review... nothing more...
