I haven't seen the film, but the review, although accurate, ends up being too long... which ultimately risks being more boring than intriguing...

A film that doesn't go beyond average... instead, a truly beautiful and moving one by Gregg Araki is Mysterious Skin... give it a watch, I highly recommend it! It’s a little masterpiece, as well as the soundtrack.

Fidia, while I respect the tastes of others and, moreover, I share some of them with you musically, saying that Matrix is of a monstrous heaviness seems too excessive to me... I can understand the 2nd or the 3rd, but the 1st really "revolutionized" cinema and the very concept of special effects. Inside Matrix there is everything or almost: Love, Friendship, Loyalty, Action (and what Action!!!) Honor... it has entered Honorarily into the Olympus of Great Films in the history of cinema. The review, although it is really too long, flows smoothly. The film, in any case, marked an era and the "reinvention" of the dark... of the gothic... How many young people started to wear makeup like him and sport that long, shiny black trench coat after seeing the movie... and I count myself among them too... after all, it was 1994 and I was young and quite impressionable!! No doubt about it, this is a great film that revitalizes feelings of love and eternity... it's not some minor movie (sorry Fidia, but I don't agree with you on this one) indeed... obviously, if Brandon Lee hadn't died, it wouldn't have had this worldwide success. But it remains a film that has made history!.... As for the soundtrack, aside from Burn by The Cure and that of Golgotha Tenement Blues, it’s pitiful and doesn’t reflect the damn thing with the leitmotif of the entire film.
