So: take off the masks, remove the "sets," what remains?? Nothing more and nothing less than a virulent mishmash of brutality, completely senseless and out of context (unless you consider the fascinating and engaging themes of pseudo-serial killers and bloodshed galore) but really; stripped of all this, what is left?? Absolutely devoid of any musical beauty.. light-years away from the mere meaning of emotions in music and the transcendental sensations it provides. I reiterate: this stuff is truly garbage and an authentic insult (accompanied by a spit) to music and what it represents. As for the review, a total mess and unfortunately not engaging at all (something you tried in every way to make happen), but alas... long live the Sisters of Mercy.
