I admire those who acknowledge their mistakes, no matter how big or small they may be! You raise the average.

Yes, but this way we can’t continue... What the hell kind of review is this?? Do you even read the crap you write?? Korn, have you seriously realized the bullshit you've written, especially jeopardizing the validity of the album with your meaningless and childish words? Please have some selections regarding reviews; we can't stand reading such nonsense... Nothing personal.

Ethos, I like you at this point!! I assure you this isn’t a joke against you, but because of your outburst, I wanted to raise the average of your review.. I respect instinctive people who take a defensive position masked as an attack when they are judged or at least questioned. I only regret having stirred up this dust (now entangled) because of what I wrote, but I can assure you that my "correction" was absolutely not intended to be biased or arrogant… not at all!! I hope at this point I can consider the matter cleared up then... As for Fidia, my dearest writing companion, besides sending him my regards, I wanted to humbly ask for your opinion regarding my personal concept on a single song... namely OBSTACLE°1 by INTERPOL. Dear friend, since I share a good part of what you express musically, I wanted to know what you think about it... A chilly greeting to all...

The Clan Of Xymox were born with this debut in '85????? but are you really sure??? Look, the single "A Day" was even released back in 1983 and demoed during those years; the album, to be precise, is not even from '85 but rather from '84. No hard feelings.... I almost forgot: Fidia, did you manage to do it with "LIFE IS SAD"?

So perhaps I explained myself poorly: first, I don't know on what grounds, easycure, you claim that I've listened to little new wave, just because I wrote that Turn is an unconventional album?? Seems a bit thin, my friend, to support such a statement, but I'll let that slide... Even though my critique was not directed at you at all, but at certain people who left comments about it. Then, if we want to get to the heart of the matter, Interpol were a revelation for the music world in 2002. Who in that year proved deserving (I'm talking about bands) to be taken into consideration?? Sure, there were some, but not at this level. Interpol were a band that managed to stand out because they have talent to spare. Their distinctive sound earned them the success they achieved. Honestly, tracks like STELLA, UNTITLED, and OBSTACLE#1 coined their success. It's true about their 80s new wave influence (see connections to Joy Division and Television), but those comparisons seem somewhat irrelevant when faced with their talent and musical genius. I REITERATE: it was not a critique aimed at you and your review but at some comments I had read. However, these attitudes annoy me quite a bit: what do you know about me?? whether I listen to new wave or not?!? Anyway, nothing personal.
