I prefer Qzerty’s review... No offense, of course... I found yours a bit "cold" and lacking in soul... with yours, you certainly reach a passing grade, that goes without saying...

....Fosca apparently is the only one who has raised her "antennae" besides me....Mike 76, I would like (and I kindly ask you) to explain to us about that absurdity I read concerning your "fantasmagorical" comparison between Frazer and Alison......honestly, the comparison would "hold" if instead of the aforementioned there were, let's say...: Pavarotti and Bono (but even here, this comparison is more likely to make you laugh than anything else!!!)...I'll wait for your clarifications then...
(Fosca: I think Frazer doesn't know her at all!!!)...no hard feelings, eh...

Sorry, sorry, sorry....: Mike 76, I didn’t quite understand what you wrote in your post (so I hope I misunderstood). Correct me if I'm wrong: are you suggesting that a comparison would be more effective if made with Frazer rather than O'Riordan??? Please help me understand better because my "antennas" went up when I read this!! Since I never judge anyone a priori, I would kindly ask you to clarify this misunderstanding.... then I will explode by sharing my thoughts....!

Everything you want, guys, but for me Alison's voice is really INSUPPORTABLE!!!! It's fine that you use this falsetto like a little girl/Lolita/innocent on 1,2,3, we can even let it slide on the 4th... but NOT on ALL the albums, damn it!!! From an interesting band (I saw them in concert at Sonoria in 1996 when they were supporting Robert Smith and his Cure), it was a painful concert since hardly anyone paid attention to them and everyone (I mean REALLY EVERYONE) was waiting for Robert... Just think: halfway through the '90s... even if Wish had been around for 4 years by then, there was an invasion of the so-called "second decade" (by the way, there’s even a band that came about as a testament to those years: the SECOND DECAY, indeed)... So a concert by Robert at the time as the headliner was something truly explosive!!! Anyway, going back to the Cranes, musically I can't say they suck, the girl knows how to play the bass and the others hold their own too... but this damn voice (which moreover becomes irritatingly unbearable) ultimately ruins everything for me!!! AWAY remains my favorite, anyway...

Dude, what do you say... is this one to be considered a "human case"? I would definitely say yes!!! But holy crap!!! Does this even look like a review??? What did you review??? Just the album title, apparently... whatever...

As I see it, this is one of the most overrated bands in the history of music (assuming they ever made it in!!) Musically, apart from the guitarist (and I'm being generous), he's the only one who’s somewhat decent, if only for the sonic continuity he brings to the group... Pete's voice is pathetic, incapable of showcasing any particularly interesting or noteworthy qualities. His "fame" as a heroin and cocaine addict makes him the target of criticism in all the British tabloids and beyond... for heaven's sake, one is free to do what they want with their life, but to be pleased that your "fame" is primarily due to being toxic is downright pitiful!!! The only song that left me less disgusted than the others is fuckforever, both for its sound and mainly for its meaning... The only merit in this crap band that has, in addition, become tiresome... there's better out there... and I mean MUCH better!!

Review with the CONTRAX!!! I completely agree with you on all fronts, dear Strummer... you’ve basically said it all without leaving us readers a chance to add anything... Congratulations!!! Fidia, did Lemmy really try to teach Sid how to play bass??? I didn't know that at all...

The review can't be said to be bad, on the contrary... but you could have focused a bit more on the lyrics and their descriptions... anyway, well done!! And what can I say about the song.... Station to Station was my existential soundtrack from the age of 14 to 18... a soundtrack shared with the greatest love of my life: FEDERICA.... wherever you are my sweet nini, I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow....... The review is really well done! The only flaw (perhaps) is that you could have said a little more about the title track, but the fact that you included its initial lyrics at the end more than makes up for it! A timeless record without hope… a youth sentence for future mistakes… generations of boys and girls have started their careers as addicts with this magnificent album… a "trap record" in the truest sense of the word…
