Sorry, Polè, but I disagree when you say that it is no longer relevant as a film, and therefore loses value for this reason: what does that mean? Should we then throw away all the films from that era? Even ā€œUn uomo da marciapiedeā€ wouldn't be relevant anymore according to your reasoning... and what about classical music? Let's not even go there... What does relevance have to do with it? Art, music, cinema, are not judged in relation to time; they transcend time... So I disagree with that statement of yours: regarding the film, I'll give it an honest 4, I should probably give even more for the historical importance it had, and there are many memorable scenes (by the way, when at the end one of the two is shot by the one with the gun, isn’t that very modern? The closing of the American frontier, right?! It seems to me it still lingers, maybe it's even become more horrifying?)... I give you a four too because the review is well done; I don’t give low ratings when someone has ideas different from mine... Cheers.

Great proposal............Regarding the phrase "even if it is obvious, and essentially established, that religion has always been the source of inspiration for art": it's entirely true, except for the 19th and 20th centuries, when it wasn't the only influence; indeed, the intertwining of art and religion may have decreased in favor of more liberated mental impulses (see all the avant-gardes, but not only)....So perhaps you exaggerate a bit in saying that it is always valid...However....;)

You did well to clarify all these things, Luca.......I just want to say that when I talk about Zappa in New York, I mentioned that "someone" might think of a live performance as a filler operation: this is not valid in general, and particularly in this case (as you've rightly pointed out, there are some unreleased pieces).........Regarding "music for electric violin..." I still believe it's the most "classical" piece of Zappa, rightly followed by bogus pomp.....the collaborations with classical orchestras have been based on the rearrangement of certain of his pieces, at least in most cases (this is not the case for the two pieces mentioned earlier, which are directly classical compositions, or at least we can define them that way, right?)....... "Lemme Take You To The Beach" is obviously a spoof, like all the numbers of that kind made by Zappa (you inevitably think of his first three albums)........Anyway, I repeat, you made excellent clarifications, saludos ;)

it's on par with the first episode (which is slightly better - let's say the first is more action-packed, the second more psychological....) ;)

the least beautiful of Tarantino, too glossy and overrated... but still beautiful (damn! I'm still a fan of his!)
