One of the few cases where Madonna got the timing wrong for releasing the album... probably if she had released it a few years later it would have been a success. I don't like this album, like almost all of Madonna's other works. In particular, this one seems soul-less to me.

their best album, almost all the songs are beautiful.

I am simply stunned by this review: it would be funny if it were a joke, but it's really sad instead. Perfect voice? Please, my neighbor sings better in the shower!! The comparison to Aerosmith is truly blasphemous. It’s still true that everyone has their own tastes, so you can listen to this "thing," but don't say that the album is "objectively beautiful." As always, I want to remind you that sales do not reflect the beauty of the album, but the degraded state of the music market. Anyway, the review is well written.

Nice review, very consistent. The album is definitely not one of the best (like the early ones), but musically it’s quite valid. The only flaw, in my opinion, is "il Testamento di Tito," which proposes an atmosphere that's far too distressing: the original by De André is much better.

But what does this review mean? It doesn't say anything about the album: maybe that's for the best, but it would have been even better not to write anything at all and leave the Finley in the total ignorance in which they are sailing, at least musically speaking.

Life is really strange: how do you sell a CD like this? Who knows?
Modena City Ramblers Appunti Partigiani

Lately, the Modena have diminished for me from a moral standpoint, but from a musical perspective, they remain valid. To Passerottino (or his uncle): do you really think that everyone who listens to the Modena or identifies as communist fits the description you just made? No, because if so, I'm sorry to inform you that you are mistaken, and I would also like to ask which bands you fund with your "dirty money"; and then "dirty in what sense?" Do you also believe in the fairy tale of the communist baby-eaters? One last note, being communist (even though I hate this label) can stem from personal reasoning, which might not have anything to do with the Soviet Union.

Why do these two have to break each other so much? Organize a boxing match if you want to solve your problems with violence.

The review is well-written and says everything it should say about the album, even though I don't agree with it all. It is certainly an excellent CD, one of the best from the Guns, who don't actually rank among my favorite bands.
