Ugly, I think that to avoid having my CDs "contaminated" by my wife's, I keep them separate (heh heh). Well, but she also likes Mozart, so every now and then she comes into my "section" and borrows a CD. On the other hand, I never venture into her CDs; I'm afraid of getting hurt (heh heh).

Grass, the adjective "committed" when referring to records, is a very personal term (and indeed I've put it in quotation marks). My wife (a saint, for putting up with me) calls my records that way. She makes no distinction between Mozart, Battiato, Pink Floyd, etc. For her, they are all "committed records" (but!? Go figure women). As for her records (Eros Ramazzotti and Company), I refrain from using adjectives (heh heh heh).

Oops, I thought it was understood that the 5 is because I fell in love with it, and you can't help with the heart (eheheheh). Being rational and considering an absolute evaluation, I wouldn't give it more than 3 (like Grass).
As for the type of review, well, I like to stick to light and personal reviews. I leave the classic reviews to those who are much better than me (and there are many of you here on Debaser). Let's say I do it more based on feelings than as if I were a music critic.
Massimof, thanks for the warm welcome among the older folks (darn, I'm already 41 years old, and the train doesn’t want to slow down!).

Massimof,.... I read the review, I thought about it........I read it again,.........I thought about it again and then I told myself "this is the most beautiful review I've read on Debaser." Without taking anything away from the others. Maybe it's because I sent one myself just yesterday thinking about the past years, maybe it's April? I don’t know, but it really touched me. I know it sounds obvious, but I say it anyway..........Thank you Massimof, thank you for being there.

Lewis, thank you for the comment. My statement of "amiable craftsmen" is meant to be, first and foremost, a heartfelt observation, given the esteem and admiration I have for the Hollies. Of course, the adjective "craftsman" doesn't particularly apply to the legendary Nash, but it certainly hangs over the band.
Listening to their records (all of their discography, not just this one), it seems to me (and this is just my opinion, of course) that they have, time and again, tried to ride the musical wave that was in vogue at that moment purely for commercial purposes. I cite just one example that seems enlightening to me: making an album singing Dylan's songs. This, in my opinion, seems like a mere commercial operation, from "amiable craftsmen." I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong, but that’s the impression I have listening to several of their records (certainly all those made after Nash's departure).

Lewis, thank you for the advice. I don't want to "dirty" your review of Side trips with off-topic words (by the way, it's beautiful).
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Lewis, tell me, you who are probably more knowledgeable than I am,
I was looking for records by English groups from that period,
but not R&B, let's say softer ones (like Beatles, Tomorrow, etc.)
do you have any advice for me? I had already seen The Marmalade on Amazon, but I'm not sure whether to go ahead with the purchase; can you tell me more?
(I have a Mac and I can't listen to the samples on Amazon)

I apologize, all that remains of my message are the exclamation points. I meant to say that I don't know Blackberry way. Right now I'm listening to their CD "Move." GOD; I LOVE THE YEARS 66, 67, 68 and the records from those years!!!!!
