Sum 41 Screaming Bloody Murder
Voto:
Yes, I liked it a lot. I've listened to it quite a bit recently, and this review makes me want to listen to it again. I must say that I've never liked anything by Sum 41, and I've never listened to one of their albums in full (except for "Chuck," which I think is a good work). I actually would have never listened to this album if it weren't for a friend of mine, and I have to say it surprised me. Best track: "Back Where I Belong." Good review, Taurus :)

Andrea and Helio are friends, but I don't like this album at all.

I write what I think is most appropriate; I remind you that the review is purely subjective. If I think this album is crap (and trust me, it is), I’ll state it. If you don’t like it because I criticize your favorite little band, go write a review yourself or alternatively, feel free to post on other reviews that elevate this abortion of an album to the nth degree.

@MACACO: Yes, I agree that the weak link of the band is indeed the singer. In the clean parts as well as in the growl and scream (even though I’ve heard from the crew that he’s notably improved in the last year) there's still room for improvement. Regarding your request, I'll throw this out there: The Francesco Artusato Project. Give it a try.

Damn, what an album. It was about time someone talked about it here on Debaser, not just Periphery but the whole djent movement. Misha Mansoor is a fucking genius, and their album is one of the most beautiful and brilliant things I've heard in recent years. I pretty much agree with everything the reviewer said (and a shout-out goes to you, dear Mirror's Chest), the album is long but not boring at all, and it flows by so effortlessly. Zyglrox, then, is insane. The only downside is, as you rightly pointed out, the production isn’t exactly flawless.

It's your personal judgment, and I respect that. You should also learn to respect not only people and their ideas but also good manners and education.

Of course, calling a poor guy ignorant and then giving a 5 to this crap... AHAHAH.

In the other review, I had already mentioned that even though I had listened to it a little, it hadn’t excited me at all. Now, with a few more listens under my belt, I can confirm it. It’s not bad, some songs sound good (above all Library Pictures) and the lyrics are nice, but musically they’ve really deflated.

Great review and excellent recommendation... of course, I haven't listened to this either, madcat, I will make sure to do it!
