Here it is, just as you promised Gallagher! An excellent review that I generally agree with on almost all points. The opening with "The Mirror Of The Signs" and "The Sound Of Winter" is quite respectable, the rest is mostly good except for "The Heart of the Matter," which is excellent and reminds me a lot of the Institute (Distort Yourself was a great album, no doubts about it).
The Deluxe Edition contains some decent tracks that have inexplicably been left out of the official tracklist. I'm especially referring to: "The Year of Danger" (truly one of the best songs written by Rossdale) and "Ghost."

I still have to listen to it, I hope to do it as soon as possible even though most of the comments here kind of discourage me...

I really enjoyed "Notes in Costellations." I got the album, but it didn't say much to me; I prefer Circa Survive.

Well, I don't completely hate the album in question. Sure, it's still Jared Leto's band, but I was definitely expecting a lot worse.

Nice review, Taurus. The EP in question was sent to me to review for another web outlet, and at first glance, it seemed like a nice piece of work, but soon enough it bored me like never before, too derivative of a sound and very little personal touch in the tracks. The only one I might save is "What Do You Do?", which is quite clever. The lyrics are nice anyway.

Well, personally I've always appreciated everything Subsonica has done, but this album was a bit of a flop. A few nice tracks here and there but nothing outstanding, it's a shame because "Microchip Emozionale," "Amorematico," and the beautiful "L'Eclissi" are great works of Italian alternative music. Live, they still rock a lot.
P.S. I don't get the whole "I'm from Turin, so I like Subsonica" thing. Is there really no one from Turin who isn’t into them?

I have to listen to it carefully sooner or later. At a first light listen, it seems quite good, though.

And anyway, if you're looking for someone in post-hardcore, core-post something, check out Letlive. "Fake History" is the best album on the planet.
