Touché Amoré Stage Four

I was waiting for your review of this album, Zero ;-) It did not disappoint expectations, nor the written piece, nor this new work by Touché Amoré; a new work that I consider to be the best in their discography. More varied, more refined, and at times, more melodic. Having already listened to it a couple of times, I foresee wearing out the vinyl in the months to come (just like what happened with Is Survived By, which I listened to for nearly 2 uninterrupted years... and I'm not joking). An autumnal album, perfect for the season that is upon us. It was needed.

A review that says nothing but actually says everything. Already one of the best albums of the year, hands down.

I love Deftones; they rightfully belong in my TOP TEN favorite bands of all time. This is because they’ve hardly made any mistakes. However, I have to say that I haven’t liked Gore so far. I swear, seriously, this is the first time a record by Moreno and the guys hasn’t caught me from the very first listen. Like others, I’ve gone back to Koi No Yokan, and I find that the comparison doesn’t hold... not even close. Koi No Yokan might be perfection, second only to a certain White Pony. Gore – which still remains a solid album – feels a bit lacking in punch, and I’m struggling to understand why. For now, it’s a modest 6 for me; let’s see if it grows on me with more listens. Phantom Bride, however, is a great track.
Great review :)
Brand New The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me

This is one of my all-time favorite records (I have it in double copy, one sealed). I rank it alongside the must-haves of the genre. Too bad they didn't follow up with Daisy. Good review, although it criminally lacks a little star :D
Mogwai Les Revenants

After careful research, I decided to approach them with the double album Young Team. Honestly, I didn't like it much. I mean, there are some beautiful tracks, goosebump-inducing like Katrien and Tracy, but other stuff is bordering on unbearable. The album reviewed here (well), on the other hand, I have never listened to. However, the cover inspires me. Maybe I'll give it a listen.

I really liked it a lot. I practically wore out the vinyl this summer.

He knows how I feel, good old Taurus. Insufficient record from every point of view. There’s not a single aspect that I can save (cover, production, recording... in short, EVERYTHING). And I’m one of those who has liked - good or bad - almost all the albums. In fact, my favorite remains firmly "Fuori." One that few have loved (and appreciated). This, as far as I'm concerned, is garbage.

I read praises everywhere, frankly, I've never liked them.

I fully agree with the comment above mine regarding these guys and the review (pleasant but long).
