I, on the other hand, go against the tide; I have always liked them and have always found them endearing. They have always been self-produced, never sold to the highest bidder, and have always been consistent with themselves, plus their live shows are quite the riot. When they were recording 'Take to the Skies', Sonny Moore aka Skrillex was struggling with From First to Last; let’s avoid pointless comparisons, please. Returning to the album, I consider it inferior even to the excellent 'Common Dreads'; it’s true that it’s listenable, but it lacks in many aspects. I’d give it a 3.5, which I’ll round up.

I haven't read the review and I don't feel like it, but I always have a one for Muse.

Absurd record.

This is nice, what will be released soon seems rather bland to me (judging by the singles that have been released).
Testament Dark Roots Of Earth

It seems like a nice album, but I've listened to it too little to give a detailed judgment. One thing can be said, though: best artwork of 2012, far from a 'childish cover'.
Trivium In Waves

It's been a year that I wanted to write the review for this album, but with little time and even less desire, I let it go. Anyway, coming to 'In Waves', I really like it although I consider it inferior to 'Shogun,' but it still has some great songs, especially the duo 'Caustic Are The Ties That Bind' and 'Forsake Not The Dream.' The title track, 'Dusk Dismantled,' and 'A Skyline's Severance' are also very nice. A special mention goes to the beautiful 'Shattering The Skies Above.' I saw them live this June, and besides being very calm and approachable, they also know how to make an impact on stage (not that I had any doubts about that, after reading millions of opinions online). P.S.: I have the Deluxe Edition, nice packaging.
Rush Clockwork Angels

By now, a review of Clockwork Angels by Rush comes out on a weekly basis; I've gotten used to it, and I don't know how I would cope if it were to stop. Decent review, outstanding album.
