Pioneering record.

Ah, one thing: but under your house or under my house? Let me know so I can make arrangements!
Eminem The Marshall Mathers LP 2
Voto:
I don't particularly love rap, although I've listened to some lately (Tyler, the Creator, all of ODD Future and the gang, Drake if he can be considered rap). Eminem has always been an exception for me; I've liked him ever since I was a kid. At least until The Eminem Show. In Encore, some tracks were worth saving (Yellow Brick Road and Spend Some Time above all), but I really didn't like the emo comeback with the duo Relapse/Recovery. As for the album in question, I had good expectations even though the smell of the typical nostalgia operation was right under my nose... and indeed, in hindsight, everything has been confirmed. Just a little disc and nothing more.

Pleasant little disc and nothing more. The review is too ostentatious; some of the expressed concepts are valid, though.
Motörhead Aftershock

I still need to listen to it. The review is quite enticing, though. I've decided, my next listening session will be dedicated to this Aftershock, I promise.
Nine Inch Nails Hesitation Marks
Voto:
The album is a summary of everything Reznor has been and has gone through, with influences from the entire NIN discography, borrowing something from the atmospheres of soundtracks and that minimal and minimalist sound of How to Destroy Angels. Hesitation Marks is not beautiful, but it is an honest and sincere album, well played, structured, arranged, and perfectly produced (typical, when the good Trent is involved). There are still high-quality tracks, especially in the second half, as the brave klagenfurt85 rightly points out. I recommend, before approaching this album, to read the monograph 'Niente mi può fermare' by Giovanni Rossi to fully understand the journey that has brought our artist to this point. Ah, a rightful mention for the majestic packaging and the divine artwork curated by R. Mills, the same person who took care of the artwork for The Downward Spiral. A bland review, says little about the album (on which I actually agree with the analysis) but unnecessarily verbose and polemical.
Avenged Sevenfold Hail To The King

Boring and derivative (even worse than the others).

It was one of my summer favorites. I still see it as a very fresh, light, and sunny work. Chino Moreno's voice and pathos blend perfectly with the rest of Isis. Very beautiful.
Touché Amoré Is Survived By

Great, very great, and beautiful review. If this were a piece of crap, you'd still make me want to blast it in my ears at full volume, but no, in this case, we're talking about Touché Amoré, and you already know the quality you're in for. I haven't listened to the album in its entirety yet, just a few scattered tracks here and there, but tomorrow morning I'll wake up at dawn, sit on the bench just outside the driveway, and listen to Is Survived By because yes, they have that Californian sound that's just impossible to explain.

What a provocative title.
