Jack... but it's the truth! Not only were they the first, but they did it in a convincing and original way... Now, when it's done, it's just for a form of commercial emulation! This record is proof of that. Then, in and of itself, it's also decent, I must say... But it's logical that it distorts the spirit of the group!

P. S. The album that started the genre was FIVE MAN ACOUSTICAL JAM by TESLA.....an undisputed masterpiece of the unplugged genre...The fact that it was later overshadowed by bigger names like Alice in Chains and Nirvana is another story...

Paradoxically, the most interesting track on the album is "Heaven in My Hearth." The remaining three songs are frankly boring. As I've noted elsewhere, continuously repeating melodies and compositional styles that have been overly rehashed by Flower Kings and Transatlantic, just to name a couple, eventually becomes tiring and even irritating. The artist has a lot of imagination and their work deserves respect... however, they continue to tread too many overused patterns to be celebrated as the reviewer claims. I respect their opinion, which is well articulated, but I do not share it.
