prolixly nostalgic.

The value of the album comes more from circumstances external to it than from the music it contains. I remember that when it was released, it wasn't really appreciated that much. It's definitely a good album, but the innovation of Nevermind had already faded.

pleasant review, but perhaps with a slightly "clinical" tone. The film, although I remember it in a vague way, I must say did not particularly impress me.

Despite the fact that I can't usually appreciate more than 3 or 4 songs per album from Slayer, I must say that this CD does lose a bit in experimentation... The ancient glories still echo...(oh yes!!), especially in tracks 4 and 5. It's a violent work, but not brutal; perhaps that's why I don't mind it.
