One question... if they had truly celebrated the aurea mediocritas this album would be a new TEN... aside from this mistake the review is good... too bad the album is so bland... after all, even Riot Act didn’t excite me much... Binaural was the last great album of the band...

...an ideal fusion between Puni and Vic Sorriso would create a Martian reviewer.....I really can’t imagine it..but I truly believe it would even make Vittorio Sgarbi envious.....!!!!! You are great!

Deep and comprehensive review...the author has demonstrated a keen and sarcastic vein; he possesses linguistic prowess and illustrative capability. He has practically torn apart the reputation of LEone, skillfully exposing its countless dark sides as well as its more questionable traits...Truly a fantastic review; have you ever considered replacing Signorini on Canale 5?

In fact, I have to say that I've never really listened to the elegies well... (from Angra I own Angel Cry and Fireworks and I consider them great albums... the singer, Matos, is very expressive...) Jetto, aside from your comment I haven't read anything about the review of Malmsteen... (he he..!!!!)

...I partially agree with your opinion...re-listening to the first volume of Operation, I must say it is definitely superior to the second (while acknowledging their intrinsic difference)...Just having listened to this album makes it hard to get too excited about this OMII...This is said without offense to two of the authors you mentioned, but I firmly believe that Operation Mindcrime I alone is worth as much as the entire discography of Angra and Elegy combined. As for Dream Theater and Shadow Gallery, well, they certainly fit in there...

..then I will listen to them....In June, will some of you be going to the Gods of Metal? I will be there on the day when the headliners are none other than Def Leppard. Come in droves!!!!! Maybe we'll all meet there....
Yngwie Malmsteen The Seventh Sign

The first album I listened to by Yngwie... and personally, I consider it the best... (along with Magnum Opus); great stylistic intensity and incredibly intense melodies (strangely) not completely suffocated by the pursuit of beauty in itself...
