a very beautiful film, I truly believe that Gibson captured the true way to represent passion: how Jesus, as the Son of God, could have become man to redeem humanity, the pain he endured, and the indifference of the people around him. For a believer, it's a truly touching film. For a non-believer, it's an opportunity to see a side of Christianity that is not glorified and celebrated with great pomp, but instead filled with realism. Stunning scenery, beautiful photography, great actors, and a good soundtrack (even though Peter Gabriel's for "The Last Temptation of Christ" is unbeatable).
