Before writing a DeReview, it's good to know that...
1. Perhaps someone has already written it
Check with the DeSearch engine to see if the album you want to review is already present in the magical DeDatabase.
If it is, it's up to you to decide if it's still worth writing a review: maybe yes (you have something else to say), but maybe not.
Pacifico Dolci Frutti Tropicali
Voto:
The simplicity that is music for Pacifico can enchant or be detested at the same time. I belong to the first group, captivated by his rhymed verses, sometimes trivial, more often splendid, by his nasal voice and his tortured falsetto. He is an artist waiting to be discovered, endowed with disarming irony; his party-concert a few weeks ago in Milan was fabulous, with Bersani, Magoni (a wonderful voice), and Spinetti enriching an extraordinary evening. However, I must admit that this latest work is a step below the previous ones; there is less joy than usual and a few too many missteps.
Soulwax Much Against Everyone's Advice
Voto:
Much Against.. is certainly more immediate than Any minute, with easier and more straightforward melodies, but in the long run, their latest work is definitely more interesting.

Sufjan Stevens Come on Feel the Illinoise
Voto:
On the original cover, the handsome Sufjan was soaring over the skyscrapers in his superhero outfit, but due to copyright reasons, he had to fly away...
