Sure, you said it yourself that prog metal in general, with few exceptions, disgusts you, just look at some posts higher up! Of coursse the Pink Floyd are PROG ROCK, not PROG METAL! Have I been clear enough? When I talk about the Pink Floyd, I talk about ROCK ROCK ROCK ROCK! Did you take me for a fool?! I said... in the ROCK field look at the Pink Floyd, who also have... etc. I talked about PSYCHEDELIA too, read carefully... you want to make me look like a complete idiot in the music scene, huh?.... In short, you can’t even name one song by DT, can you? Here’s the test then... tell me what you think of Opeth! (Anyway, a piece of advice from a poor fool like me: if metal isn’t the highest musical expression for you, tread lightly when discussing it, especially regarding DT, because, as you surely know, producing and playing ROCK is one thing, producing and playing METAL is something quite different). View DT as a metal band, not a rock one. Of course there’s no comparison with the Pink Floyd, the former play metal, the latter rock...

You see, easy, I suspected you didn't like prog metal. For me, it's the ultimate genre in metal. And also in rock (see Pink Floyd, who also have a psychedelic side to their music). Honestly, you may be a great connoisseur of musical knowledge in general, but it's OBVIOUS that if you don't appreciate prog metal, and metal in general, Dream will never blow your mind... It's like I was to discuss your friends, The Cure... I've listened to them, I don't like them, but not loving that genre and not being interested in it, I'm the LAST person who could talk about The Cure. You got it? And then you didn't answer my question: SAVE ME A DREAM SONG IN 20 YEARS OF THEIR CAREER. Just one.......... PS: I'm not a die-hard fan of Dream; I used to be, but for now, I consider them 'simply' a great band. PPS: I see the emotion in Dream, and not just because they've made undeniably beautiful ballads, but for other reasons too.

But beyond everything... do you like prog metal, easy? It's important to me that you respond; everything is wrapped up in the answer you give me.

You're a bit arrogant, easycure, has no one ever told you? What do I need to argue, you’re always right. The dream bands suck to you, so they suck ABSOLUTELY. You won't budge an inch from your opinions. Even if they were to draw inspiration from various Coliseums, Iron Butterfly, and Genesis... can you explain to me what's wrong with that? In this album, the dream bands seem to adopt in some songs the glam clichés that Queen is so fond of? BRING IT ON. It's called CONTAMINATION, MUSICAL CROSSBREEDING. ANOTHER DAY is a BEAUTIFUL ballad, no matter what you say. METROPOLIS? A MASTERPIECE OF PROG METAL. And what do you say about TAKE THE TIME? Do you realize that you're not as objective as you'd like to appear? What you have is FREE CONTEMPT, do you know why? Because you won’t admit the good things the dream bands have done. You hate the dream bands, where does objectivity stem from that? And then honestly... you might know more than me in the musical field (not that it keeps me up at night), but if you come talking to me about the Ramones being better than the dream bands... how can you even compare them? They make different genres in different historical periods! Can't you see where your contempt leads you?! AND THEN... DREAM-RAMONES (PERSONALLY) 10-0. In 8/9 studio albums, there isn't a SINGLE song that saves you from DT? And who says that musical culture corresponds to what you have? For example: don’t you think someone might consider you ignorant just because you don't know a couple of bands that for that person were fundamental in the history of music? And would that be fair to you? Not to me.

The Pet Shop Boys may have done something good, but my point was provocative. Here, soon enough, the Dream seem worse qualitatively even than Laura Pausini, and frankly, we are now descending into simply gratuitous disdain for a band that, if it doesn’t deserve lavish praise over 16 years of career, certainly doesn’t deserve all this crap thrown at it. Absolutisms, both negative and positive, haven’t been credible for a while now. Do you know how many other bands today really suck in the metal scene? Uuuuuuuh, just think about it! And yet even they aren’t completely worthless (just to avoid falling into the negative absolutism I just hinted at). Anyway, I would like to point out to Easy that Queen changed the history of rock/pop; they were a FUNDAMENTAL band and "We Are The Champions" is an absolute masterpiece of glam rock. I’m not making this up, believe me. Let the crap rain down on the Dream, but for Queen’s sake, please don't be heretical...
