In my opinion, the ideal would be to listen to the album twice, no more, and then evaluate it. If you listen to it 50 times, in the end, you become attached to it and lose some objectivity; you internalize it and it becomes part of you, and if it becomes part of you, you excessively fill it with images and emotions that prevent the necessary detachment. Also, to judge an artist's playing ability, one listen is enough, come on. I mean, I don’t think the goal of a critic is to memorize the melodies of the tracks.

But how does one write a review of a game? The reviewer has practically given meaning to every character in the game and to James's adventure as an allegory of human consciousness, highlighting the psychological and phenomenological aspects (the monsters appear only to the unclean)... perhaps he could have spared himself from listing the possible endings, but there is time to improve in terms of presentation.

But sharing some review entries by Scaruffi means being his follower? Has he ever gotten any opinion right or not? I mean, who actually pays absolute attention to Scaruffi? How can one be completely in agreement or disagreement with 10,000 entries?

I mean, was it a terrifying playground limited to that period, or in relation to the consoles that came after? Because it seems to me that the PS2 and XBOX catalogs are still superior anyway.

I remember it very well; it was eagerly anticipated in the magazines at the time. The Dreamcast was the most powerful platform out there for a while, too bad it obviously didn't have an adequate games library.
