Just yesterday I was listening again out of curiosity to the first work and Iowa... well, they suffer from exaggerated sensationalism, starting with that guitar in Iowa that covers everything and reveals nothing. Corey isn't bad as a singer, it's just a shame about the forced violence of the music. I wouldn't even go near the last album under threat.

S4DOLL: I don't know if entertainment can be considered an art. For sure, Toki for me is a childhood game just like Lego constructions were, and it feels impossible to approach it intellectually. The 2D platformer genre has been so overinflated (and so childishly arcade-like) that today I wouldn’t even be able to play it for 5 minutes. They are products that are not only technically outdated (which wouldn’t be a problem in itself), but in terms of gameplay and cultural relevance, they are incredibly surpassed. I wouldn’t even be able to play Super Mario Bros or World anymore, despite giving both a solid 5 for what they have meant to me and to the evolution of gaming.

Yes, but let’s not start acting like Scaruffi Jr. about video games... this section isn’t exactly a place for art in the strict sense. Besides, the Nervose are a full-blown nostalgia trip, and if I have to stop and rationally think about how many bullshit I can throw at Toki, goodbye pleasure. Let’s not take the gaming world too seriously.
