A 5-star review in the first part, but then it loses its way a bit too much in the description of the songs. Guccini deserves respect, and it’s careless to still box him into outdated ideological compartments. Guccini is a great singer-songwriter.

"... what the REM could have done if instead of going on the road, they had stayed at home, considering, at least in their case, the uselessness of tours for selling records." But what sense does this phrase make? I mean, is the tour, if you are a big artist, unnecessary because records sell anyway? Aside from the fact that with tours, big bands sometimes earn more than they do from records (just look at the Rolling Stones, Springsteen, Madonna, REM, U2...), that said, tours are made to stay in touch with the audience and to play the songs from the album live (which, after all, should be the true purpose of every band: to play the songs they've composed with their instruments and not just to make a CD). I was lucky enough to see that tour; they were explosive.

Can you imagine why Rihanna (and Lady Gaga, Madonna...) poses for photographs (it’s not really her who "poses for photographs" but rather those who design the photo, the packaging, etc.) in these poses on the covers of CDs? Let’s think about it for two or three seconds.

Dick: "In senso inverso"; well, the classic and should be read anyway "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", "The Man in the High Castle" and "A Scanner Darkly," and let's throw in "Eye in the Sky."
