Are you sure those feelings of purity never existed? Reflection is beautiful but ultimately it becomes somewhat trivial. Times have changed a lot, and I completely disagree with the conclusions you draw.

No, I don’t agree. 3 to this compared to the full 6 of the first Alien.
Quentin Tarantino Django Unchained

I'm revisiting to refine my personal ranking of Tarantino's best films. This one, in terms of enjoyment, stands on par with Pulp Fiction. Perhaps in terms of importance within his filmography, it ranks just slightly lower, around the 3rd or 4th place. Still, honestly, I think it's Tarantino's most successful "amusement park." Among other things, it's a great showcase for the actors. And for Tarantino's standards, my rating has become a 5.

I agree with Woodstock. After reading this review, my brain's synapses are all tied up like a sailor's knots.

So the snob-hipsters of Deb now have a first and last name! Like those who went on and on about this movie without having seen it. Like those who "cassa a 'casso'."

Yes, I like these, nothing new, eh, but I like them.

Rotten horses that fake derca. The record takes me back to the '80s. Still, it had its own dignity (in the pop of that time). An Italian Saturday is a little classic.

Maronn... poor Van, just one review and 17 comments for an incredible masterpiece.

The review brings up my deepest fears, but if we don't even go to see Tarantino, what the hell is left for us? I also rewatched "Bastardi" yesterday, and just the first sequence is enough to make you want to see a film like that. I hope this one isn't a mixed-up mess. I've been reading good things about Tornatore's latest; has anyone seen it?
