You've convinced me too... I'll go look for this record right away. As for the rest, I won't comment...
R.E.M. New Adventures In Hi Fi

DAMN EASYCURE I THINK YOU AND I WILL GET ALONG JUST FINE. I ALSO THINK THIS IS PERHAPS THE BEST REM ALBUM. I reckon as long as we don't talk about post-Meddle Pink Floyd, we’ll be good.
R.E.M. Around The Sun

This album disappointed me quite a bit, but even with Reveal, I had realized that something was changing for the worse. The last MASTERPIECE by R.E.M. remains UP. Hope is the last to die.
Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

X KRISTEN. even though my nickname is feminine, I am male. The name comes from pumpkin = zucchina which I changed with the ck, for aesthetic reasons. Naturally all in honor of the Pumpkins.

I apologize if I offended any grunge lovers with my simplifications. It was just a vent. I don't think grunge is just about flannel shirts and greasy hair; that's what record labels have turned it into, a parody of itself. Nevertheless, I reiterate that the Pumpkins have little to do with this genre. Ipse dixit Corgan. It's pointless to compare the Pumpkins to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, or Soundgarden (the bands they've been associated with); their background and musical culture are completely different.

I don’t think Mellon Collie is better than this album. In the double CD, there are so many tracks that if they had been cut, the entire work would have benefited in freshness and quality. This one is more balanced. Still, they remain the best works of the pumpkins and two milestones in 90s rock.
Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory

I FOUND SOMETHING FOR WHICH EASYCURE HAS EARNED 1000 POINTS. JIMMY CHAMBERLIN AMONG YOUR FAVORITE DRUMMERS. EVEN THOUGH HE IS NOT A DRUMMER, HE IS AND REMAINS MY FAVORITE. AFTER ALL, YOU'RE NOT GETTING ON MY NERVES AT ALL. MAYBE YOU'RE A BIT HARSH ON DREAM THOUGH. I DON’T CONSIDER IT THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD, BUT I DON’T MIND THEM. THE FLAWS YOU MENTION, EVERYONE HAS THEM, OF COURSE, BUT COME ON, GIVE THEM A CHANCE.
Pink Floyd Atom Earth Mother
Voto:
ATOM HEART MOTHER was a Western-style music piece in the version of Pink Floyd (their words) later transformed by Geesin. Waters here does not ascend to any pedestal, and he won’t until THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. An album that feels a bit out of place, and of course, beautifully so for easycure, who enjoys being the ALTERNATIVE.
Pink Floyd Animals
Voto:
Some have defined it as Waters' answer to the emerging punk of the times. The album is beautiful, but it’s a bit embarrassing to note one thing: the three central tracks seem to be stretched out in the middle sections just to compensate for the lack of other material to fill the album and not make it shorter. Gilmour in DOGS delivers one of his best vocal performances. A few curiosities: it's likely that many bass parts are played by Gilmour. Sheep wouldn't be entirely by Waters, even though it appears that way in the credits.
Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse Of Reason

Nice review. It fully encapsulates the low level reached by Gilmour with this album. In this case, the huge sales were inversely proportional to the quality of the record. The worst way to try to silence Waters.
