If you feel betrayed, then you don't consider De Gregori as a person but as an icon... and this is offensive, first and foremost, to him. Being a devotee of an artist during a specific period is the worst way to appreciate them. I still admire him for what he writes... he is no longer that De Gregori because it’s no longer '78 and now he is 56 years old... what he loses on one side, he gains on the other. He recorded a raw, almost live album just as it came to him, and he released a successful single without even wanting to... De Gregori is still here; it's just that we don't know how to seek him out anymore...

It's a provocation, or, if you prefer, a joke about a song and an album that are pitiful, having nothing in common with the good stuff of the past (for me, it stopped at "canzoni per me"). ugly... I don't admire the courage to tackle the review of this work because at least one should know what they're talking about. And you don't. No offense, but you've written a nice list of "bullshit" (read = inaccuracies) and then listed the songs. "Careful With Axe, Eugene" is an instrumental piece, based on an initial bass line and Wright's keyboards, followed by a terrible scream from Waters and the subsequent explosion of sounds that, as the seconds pass, calms down until it reaches the end. But if someone has never heard it, do you think that reading this will make them want to listen to it? come on, seriously...
