Alright, Ogre Battle... it’s not to speak ill of Freddie, it’s a fact that he had problems that day, it’s not an invention, they mention it in interviews. But just because someone points it out doesn’t mean they’re speaking badly of Queen or Freddie. It seems silly to me that you get angry and insult. Think before you speak.

of course it's not on the level of the other albums. we agree. but this is a soundtrack, music for the film; you can't criticize the record for being "just film music." that's its purpose; if you're looking for something else, it's normal that you won't find it. if I go to see a romance movie, I can't complain and criticize it because it's "a romance movie." I already knew that! it's the "reason" for your criticism that makes the review inconsistent and pointless.

"16 tracks that serve as a very simple musical background for the film"... brilliant phrase, really. Let me share a little secret: that was exactly the intention of Queen! Do the words "original soundtrack" mean anything to you? And the fact that they released an album of songs in the same year didn't make you realize all this time that the intention was simply to release the album with the soundtrack for the film, just like it happens even today? It's clear that you can't listen to this CD like a regular album. I bought the complete soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings, but I don’t complain saying, "what a drag, there are only three sung songs." I already knew that.
