So, we need to stay calm here. Don't write "the childish fans of Waters," because I never said that Waters' fans are childish. I didn't generalize. I was referring to some who commented. As for knowing how to write reviews, I wouldn't know; you see, I'm not a qualified critic in this field, but surely at least on this site, I'm a bit ahead of you. You demonstrate childishness because every time you comment, you rate, almost as an act of spite. Either way, I certainly wanted to provoke reactions, and I knew I would receive harsh criticism, but I only get upset with those I consider out of line and superficial. Your first comment contains an error because you say, "But how can you say that Mr. Waters is an inadequate composer and arranger?" Never wrote "inadequate composer." I have always been quite calm in my comments and explanations. I have always been very CLEAR. You are the one who started to "yell" a bit. So, the arrogance starts with you. What's wrong with saying "I know I'm right"? Not everyone agrees with you in these comments. Moreover, my review is very nostalgic; it's from a fan. There are specific references to the history of the Floyd. And even if it's intentionally biting, it doesn't seem approximate to me at all. Until next time.

I'm sorry, but there is no comparison between my supposed indirect insults and your "you're an idiot." Then look, if you want to hear some insults, maybe I just need to put your sentences about the rem all over the site and trust me, they'll come pouring in. It's like trying to talk about singer-songwriters with someone who listens to Gigi D'Alessio. There can't be a dialogue. And if you find this an indirect insult, well, my dear, maybe you're a bit paranoid. Good bon jovi to everyone.
Pink Floyd Echoes The Best Of

this is a masterpiece in intentions. I thought you understood that from the writing on the cd and the advertising they did for it. and given the intentions, my judgment remains the same.

as you wish. I know I'm right because what I'm saying is true. For the rest, I agree with you, and I've said it. I'm exclusively talking about the musical arranging side. Damn, I’ve even seen Roger Waters in concert; don’t sit here thinking that I’m “against” Roger, come on… I was clear. Without Pink Floyd, Roger wouldn't have made it big anyway. Other musicians wouldn't have created The Wall as we know it today, or Wish You Were Here, or Animals, since a large part of the music, arrangements, and sounds come from Gilmour. The compositional greatness of Waters is immense and surpasses the others, but he wouldn’t have reached anyone without Pink Floyd. Because the name Pink Floyd created and still creates an immediate appeal, while Roger Waters unfortunately does not. This is demonstrated by the fact that Pink Floyd filled stadiums with two mediocre albums, while he played in theaters with concept shows for "a few intimate" fans. After that, you certainly won’t be the one to judge my musical competence based on this review. I present facts. Roger Waters great composer and lyricist? YES. Roger Waters great musician, arranger, and producer? NO. But this doesn’t diminish Waters’ greatness, it’s clear; that wasn’t my intent. I highlighted a small flaw of our dear Roger. I didn’t want to tarnish an entire career. And since many have just been outraged and lectured me (without realizing that maybe I already knew the lesson), I consider those reactions childish and similar to Vasco fans. Given that I’ve also received insults, I apologize if I’m a bit rude. No hard feelings. Bye.

One thing is to write a piece. Another is to arrange it and give it structure. Waters knew how to capture emotions, he is a fantastic lyricist, he had simple yet brilliant ideas and, I agree with you, he touched the hearts of half the world with his music. But it is equally true that musically, on his own, he couldn’t stand up, and the best things he did were with the Floyd. I don’t see what’s disrespectful about that; it’s the truth. To each their own, if Waters had done THE WALL alone it wouldn’t be the album we listen to today, because 70% of the musical work was done by Gilmour and Ezrin, just as they wrote a lot of uncredited music and composed the tracklist. I certainly don’t dream of denying Waters’s compositional genius and lyricism. I was talking about an inadequate musician and arranger. Those are two different things. So before insulting or mocking, try to understand what you read and listen deeply to the music in all its components. Out of curiosity, how many of you have listened to the album? Sometimes you seem like Vasco fans; just say something negative and they immediately tear you apart. Well, do as you wish...
