...great group, I like them. Of course, they aren't innovators, they're not alternative-country, but they don't even dream of being that. They play a folk-rock-pop that isn't cool enough to be always radio-friendly, but they carry on a tradition of American rock that doesn't exist anymore today... perhaps only the Heartbreakers of T. Petty remain to represent what could (?) be called a genre. An honest band of American musicians....

...very curious, I listened to this album and made some comparisons with the pre-conversion albums, and I’m convinced this is an excellent record and that Yusuf/Stevens lands on his feet. The album is great in my opinion, and at first listen, it really seems that the years gone by and the break from music haven’t affected the natural talent of an excellent songwriter.
