Joy Division An Ideal For Living

Ah, for the record, that fervent naziskin Curtis hasn’t made a single political reference in two and a half albums, just the name of the band, and as specified by him for aesthetic rather than political purposes. In the end, it’s the usual Italian game of bending human knowledge to a dull division between right and left, without even basing it on real facts or quotes from the artist in question, but rather on the gossip of his (cuckolded) wife. So maybe you’re confused; this isn’t a "musical Novella 2000", this is a review site, leave the gossip for your little friends to demonstrate how much you know about the "Joy Division of Jan Curtis", here you might encounter someone who actually lived through Joy Division - you can call him "Melandri" or "Coglione" as much as you want, but he didn’t need the latest iconographic biography to know Joy Division. Goodbye, too much of a loser to hold a discussion.

I only see a bit of insults and a getaway, or am I wrong? :) Forget about getting on Debaser and making a fool of yourself. What can you do, it happens.

Oh, congratulations on the attention, you've called him Jan only 7 times.

I would say it's best to leave in their own bliss of ignorance someone who claims to know the political preferences and even the vote of a figure whose name they can't seem to write :)

For example, the fact that both New Order and Curtis have confidently denied these bullshit? Please, don’t continue with this pointless belief – it’s already laughable to politically exploit an artist, but if the foundations are completely false I can't stop laughing. As far as I'm concerned, they can even vote for Mastella, but the fact is that the band has denied it: is there anything else to know about it? No, nothing else, posthumous and unauthorized biographies are, as always, cheap iconographies, often written by people interested in getting as much as possible out of the only stroke of luck they had in life: that of knowing a great.

Curtis's wife, yes, the one who doesn't harbor a single bit of resentment towards her husband :D When will Courtney Love's truths about Cobain come out? :D

Dirty and raw = more original? Where does this come from? From the manual of the young no new york? :D

The progressive committed suicide, while they were talking about revolution between mellotron and long drinks there were people in the streets pissed off. The punk did nothing, it just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

No, the Ramones were "discovered" when people were hungry for punk and were later rightfully reassessed, but no one cared about them at the time; as I said, they were part of the New York scene that revolved around CBGB's, a brilliant scene but purely underground back then.

Now that Bad Brains and Husker Du are refined... It’s not about arrangements or "cleanliness"; the point is that in a genre where the key element (at least musically) is speed, it can't be musically refined. It’s clear that I’m not talking about their artistic sensitivity. Look at how I reviewed Zen Arcade; do you think I consider it an easy album? :)
