Spiritualized Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space

A decidedly good review for a masterpiece.

I liked it, even if it was written in one go. Maybe it’s better to find a middle ground between my take and yours, giving a general opinion about the album. Going through each song with a double review is kind of suicide; it takes four times the space, and in the end, you don't have an overall view of the album. On the other hand, to get into the details of Zen Arcade, you just have to listen to it, right? Of course, it’s clear that nothing works for you :)

I tried to stay within the space suggested by the guidelines.
Maybe let me know what’s wrong; I could even decide to rewrite it, or I might simply use your suggestions for some future reviews.

Thank you for the votes and the update to the review.
Vasco Rossi Canzoni per me
Voto:
Naturally Vasco enters everyone's memories; it's precisely those he uses to capture the audience. I would say that a Vasco listener has smoked a joint at least once in their life and has experienced love at least once, so generic and so superficial that it becomes annoying to me. And after the one who looks at the ground, the one who smokes Lucky Strikes, and the one who eats the apple, she still hasn't finished being a pain in the ass... pessimism and annoyance.

It's clear that the review isn't being asked of the rocker (whom, by the way, I don't really appreciate that much), nor is it about just doing the homework; it's about making the review useful even for those who don't know Marquee Moon, otherwise it's just self-indulgence. If the style is personal, even better. Then, it's obvious that these are my opinions, just as it's equally obvious that I don't claim to "command," and it's equally obvious that I've commented on the review and not the person. Certainly, following Vanamente's reasoning, which I actually share, I wonder if it's possible that you've all "felt" the same emotions. Regarding technique, you're mistaken; I find it one of the most insignificant factors for judging an album, and frankly, you'll rarely find me discussing it, both due to a lack of knowledge and because, indeed, it's the last thing I consider when "judging" an artist.

I'm here (the second one was a fake).
What’s the problem exactly? If you want to write a review, you should talk about the album; it seems pretty simple to me. What information do I get from a "review" like this? None, absolutely none, I can barely understand the genre. So in this case, you use a service for what it is; you go on the forum and post whatever you want.
Look at that, the "review" ended up being pure spam. If instead of writing a review you want to write a message in the style of high school Smemoranda, you can always add a tag in the title, so that those who want to talk about music can just move on.
By the way, other reviews like "Punk not diet" have been happily panned for the same reasons, which says a lot about some people's objectivity.
Iron Maiden Powerslave
Voto:
I must disagree: Maiden have given a lot, they are not "fundamental," but they have contributed significantly. They stand apart from the various "power metal" bands you mention because their lyrics never speak of "reality," but have transposed everything into their own reality, completely fantasy, yet with some veiled references to the real world. They are not "pagan" in the classic sense of "everyone else is Christian and I'm here to be a nuisance," but with imagination, originality, and good lyrics, which combined with music that is definitely not power metal, but classic metal with some new wave influences, makes their albums very evocative. I find them interesting, flavorful, I like their way of writing songs, I appreciate their "ancestral" attitude, they are the only metal band I can say I am attached to.
If someone doesn't like metal (I’m not particularly crazy about it, to be honest), so be it; I always find the purely "technical" evaluation of a work quite inconclusive. The rating of the review seems to be influenced by the final score, likely the result of an error. Change that, the review deserves a 3.
In any case, the creative peak of Maiden is, in my opinion, the first two LPs, the ones with Di Anno, who may not have Dickinson's voice but is certainly less cold.

Which is in War, that is, two albums later (in between there's a great October, the one with Gloria, just to be clear) and it involves a keiser :pppp
Great album, I can also hear a bit of Television.
If I may give a piece of advice, to slowly discover the early U2, the live "Under a blood red sky", which I adore madly, and which contains the hits from the first 3 historic CDs, Boy, October, War.
